Holed up in Mexico, James makes ends meet with his alter ego, a ‘Mexican Bandit’ the Tainui Kid from ‘85 cult hit Came a hot Friday (watch) . Here he is featured on the cover of Nortec Collective’s (listen) 2005 release ,Tijuana Sessions Vol.3. Their blend of Mexico and Techno takes the accordian into yet to be defined territories. Shame Billy T’ didn’t tour with them to WOMAD, New Plymouth this year… next time huh.
